Heathrow Local Cars Terms And Conditions
The following terms and conditions represent the agreement between you and Heathrow Local Cars. Your booking of a taxi and utilization of our services signify your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions, "Heathrow Local Cars," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" can pertain to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey, ensuring that you reach your destination punctually. This applies to all airport transfers, where adherence to specific flight check-in times is crucial. Heathrow Local Cars shall not be held responsible for any delays resulting from your inability to allocate ample time to reach your destination promptly or for your failure to be ready for collection at the scheduled time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to request a vehicle of appropriate size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. Heathrow Local Cars cannot guarantee the transportation of an excessive amount of luggage. Please be aware that, regardless of a child's age, they are considered a single passenger.
2.3 Should you require wheelchair access, please specify this at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Heathrow Local Cars provides quotations based on information provided by you. All prices, unless explicitly stated otherwise, exclude VAT, which may be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote in the event of significant changes to the planned itinerary.
3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period following the scheduled landing time and cover airport parking expenses. Any waiting period beyond this limit will incur charges at our standard waiting rate. We will make every effort to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, but this is not an obligatory commitment.
3.3 Upon accepting a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation meticulously and ensure its accuracy. Failure to report any discrepancies to Heathrow Local Cars will absolve us of responsibility for delays or costs arising from any errors.
3.4 Payments for our services can be made in cash, via credit card, or by debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. In the event of passenger-induced soiling, damage, or disruption to the vehicle, a cleaning fee may be applied.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 All children traveling in the vehicle must be appropriately restrained in accordance with their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are obligated to adhere to passenger limits specified by licensing and insurance regulations.
5. Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Heathrow Local Cars, please do so as soon as possible. Failure to cancel a vehicle after dispatch may incur a charge, calculated based on the driver's distance and time.
5.2 If you've booked through our online system and cancel before the vehicle is dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply.
6. Liability
6.1 While we make every effort to ensure timely arrivals, we cannot be held liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. In no circumstances will Heathrow Local Cars be responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 You assume responsibility for your luggage.
6.3 In the event of a vehicle breakdown during your journey, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle to ensure the completion of your journey as swiftly as possible.
6.4 You shall not hold Heathrow Local Cars accountable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any acts or omissions by individuals in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death due to negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We retain the right to terminate or decline a booking immediately if any passenger places the vehicle or driver at risk, whether through abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be issued for journeys terminated during the hire.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Heathrow Local Cars may subcontract its obligations as defined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of the rights or obligations you hold under this agreement.
8.2 Heathrow Local Cars may modify the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect when the booking was made.
8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Heathrow Local Cars and yourself.
8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer advantages or benefits on third parties. Third parties have no rights to enforce the terms of this agreement unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
9. Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be submitted within 30 days of the scheduled pickup date. Heathrow Local Cars is not obligated to address claims or disputes submitted after this time frame.
